The government has formed a committee to monitor the impact of rise in temperature on the wheat crop. Agriculture Secretary Manoj Ahuja said that we have formed a committee to monitor the conditions arising out of the increase in heat on the wheat crop. He said that the committee will issue advisory to the farmers to adopt micro irrigation. The production of wheat in the crop year 2022-23 (July-June) is estimated to be a record 112.1 million tonnes.
