Vaughn Sterling is senior executive producer of features and explainers, managing a team of video journalists producing a wide variety of content for The Wall Street Journal.

Prior to starting at the Journal in 2023, Vaughn worked for more than 20 years at CNN, including on award-winning work with Wolf Blitzer and election night coverage. He led breaking news teams in the control room in prime time and helped develop the network’s strategy to cover the news during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
