Dow up 116 points on gains for shares of Boeing, Caterpillar

Shares of Boeing and Caterpillar are posting positive momentum Monday morning, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Boeing and Caterpillar are contributing to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow was most recently trading 116 points (0.4%) higher. Boeing’s shares have climbed $3.70, or 1.9%, while those of Caterpillar are up $3.08 (1.3%), combining for a roughly 45-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include JPMorgan Chase 3M and Nike A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
