Cryptocurrency price in India 1 March 2023: Bitcoin at $23,446, Ethereum up 0.32%, market traded mixed
The market on Wednesday traded mixed. Bitcoin decreased by 0.05 percent to stand at $23,446. However, the value of Ethereum went up by 0.32 percent to $1635, as compared to its yesterday’s lows.
On the current fluctuations of the market, Mr. Sathvik Vishwanath, Co-Founder and CEO of Unocoin said, “Cryptocurrencies face a mixed day with Bitcoin and Ethereum under pressure. These two largest cryptocurrencies, have struggled to bounce back from recent declines as growing macroeconomic uncertainty drives investors to safer investments.”
He added, “Technical indicators such as RSI and MACD suggest that the ETH/USD pair could experience another upside move if it manages to break through the $1,665 resistance.”
As the market struggled between the ups and downs, the price of Solana decreased by 0.97 percent to $22.32. On the other hand, Litecoin managed to improve its price by 1.95 percent from the previous day’s loss. The mixed market could further affect the Cardano’s value by 2.27 percent negatively, in contrast to the positive impact on XRP and Polygon values. At this time, Avalanche also fell by 1.41 percent to $17.52, followed by a decline in Cosmos of 1.73 percent.
On 1 March, the global crypto market cap decreased by 0.06 percent to $1.07 trillion in the past 24 hours. Similarly, the total crypto market volume stood at $45.06 billion, having registered a decrease of 0.47 percent.
Gainers and decliners of the day
According to CoinMarketCap, the top gainers were Stacks, ImmutableX, Frax Share, and Maker. Contrarily, the top losers were NEM, Conflux, Optimism, and Ethereum POW.
Meme coins register fall
On Wednesday, the value of meme coins plunged. Shiba Inu recorded a slip of 1.89 percent to $0.000012. The value of Dogecoin fell 0.18 percent to $0.081926. This continued in Dogelon Mars with a 0.08 percent decrease.
Metaverse tokens in the red
A majority of the top metaverse tokens remained in the red zone. The price of The Sandbox recorded a loss of 0.85 percent, which continued in Axie Infinity by a 0.69 percent reduction. Moreover, Decentraland sank by 1.50 percent.
