Dow drops 200 points on losses for shares of Goldman Sachs, Merck

Shares of Goldman Sachs and Merck are seeing declines Tuesday afternoon, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Goldman Sachs GS and Merck MRK are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA was most recently trading 202 points, or 0.6%, lower. Goldman Sachs’s shares are off $12.17 (3.3%) while those of Merck have dropped $2.74, or 2.5%, combining for a roughly 98-point drag on the Dow.
