Home Depot, Walmart share losses lead Dow's 60-point drop

Behind negative returns for shares of Home Depot and Walmart, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Wednesday morning. The Dow was most recently trading 60 points, or 0.2%, lower, as shares of Home Depot and Walmart have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Home Depot’s shares are down $6.39 (2.2%) while those of Walmart are off $2.41 (1.7%), combining for an approximately 58-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walgreens Boots Coca-Cola and Verizon A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
