Wabtec stock rises Tuesday, outperforms market

Shares of Wabtec WAB inched 0.11% higher to $104.33 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around rough trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX falling 0.30% to 3,970.15 and Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA falling 0.71% to 32,656.70. This was the stock’s second consecutive day of gains. Wabtec closed $2.78 short of its 52-week high ($107.11), which the company reached on February 15th.

Trading volume (1.3 M) eclipsed its 50-day average volume of 923,464.
