Dow Inc.’s shares are off $3.08 (8.7%) while those of Exxon Mobil have declined $2.16 (5.1%), combining for a roughly 36-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Walgreens Boots WBA, -4.78%, Travelers TRV, -4.63%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -4.62%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.86-point swing.
