Behind losses for shares of Boeing and Chevron, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Tuesday morning. Shares of Boeing BA, -0.91% and Chevron CVX, -2.07% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, +0.02% was most recently trading 81 points, or 0.3%, lower. Boeing’s shares have declined $3.97 (2.4%) while those of Chevron have dropped $1.44, or 1.9%, combining for a roughly 36-point drag on the Dow. Walt Disney DIS, -0.75%, Goldman Sachs GS, -0.44%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -0.40% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
