Shares of IBM and Cisco are seeing positive momentum Thursday morning, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow (DJIA) is trading 98 points higher (0.3%), as shares of IBM (IBM) and Cisco (CSCO) are contributing around a quarter of the index’s intraday rally. IBM’s shares have risen $9.41, or 7.6%, while those of Cisco have risen $0.74, or 1.9%, combining for a roughly 67-point boost for the Dow. American Express (AXP) Chevron (CVX) and Travelers (TRV) are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
