JPMorgan Chase, UnitedHealth share losses contribute to Dow's 116-point drop

Shares of JPMorgan Chase and UnitedHealth are trading lower Friday afternoon, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.49% and UnitedHealth UNH, -1.83% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.27% was most recently trading 116 points (0.4%) lower. JPMorgan Chase’s shares are off $1.87, or 1.8%, while those of UnitedHealth are off $6.35, or 1.8%, combining for an approximately 54-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include American Express AXP, -1.62%, Dow Inc. DOW, -1.53%, and Chevron CVX, -1.50%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
