Dow rallies nearly 350 points on gains in shares of Boeing, Walgreens Boots

Shares of Boeing and Walgreens Boots are trading higher Monday morning, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average rally. Shares of Boeing BA, +5.91% and Walgreens Boots WBA, +4.02% have contributed about a quarter of the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +1.26% was most recently trading 344 points higher (1.2%). Boeing’s shares are up $9.71 (5.2%) while those of Walgreens Boots are up $1.57, or 3.7%, combining for an approximately 74-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Chevron CVX, +5.39%, Walt Disney DIS, +4.01%, and American Express AXP, +2.60%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
