Dow's 83-point jump led by gains in Inc., Microsoft stocks

Behind positive growth for shares of Inc. and Microsoft, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading up Thursday morning. The Dow DJIA, +0.49% was most recently trading 83 points, or 0.3%, higher, as shares of Inc. CRM, +2.65% and Microsoft MSFT, +2.21% are contributing to the index’s intraday rally. Inc.’s shares are up $5.33, or 2.5%, while those of Microsoft are up $4.92, or 2.1%, combining for an approximately 67-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Visa V, +2.00%, Walt Disney DIS, +2.13%, and American Express AXP, +1.54%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
