“This is a great way to get information to potential buyers without hosting a large gathering. We did the same thing in spring 2021 for our community of Ambleton in northwest Calgary and it was well received,” says Nina Wulder, Qualico marketing and communications co-ordinator.

“During the pandemic, we have had to be creative in our delivery of information.”

Painted Sky is the first community in Langdon to be developed by Qualico. It’s located on the west side of the hamlet in Rocky View County and is a 15-minute drive from Chestermere and a 20-minute drive east from Calgary on Glenmore Trail.

The builder group in Phase 1 includes NuVista Homes, Broadview Homes and Sterling Homes, building laned, front garage and wide/shallow front garage homes respectively. Building lots in Painted Sky are up to 48 feet wide.

The community will have six parks, four playgrounds, 2.8 kilometres of walking paths and is within walking distance of a K-Grade 9 school. A future high school is expected to open in 2024. Qualico has also reserved a site for another school within the community.

Community Reveal Boxes can be requested until Jan. 17 by completing a form at
