Walmart, Home Depot share gains contribute to Dow's 367-point rally

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Tuesday afternoon with shares of Walmart and Home Depot seeing positive growth for the index. Shares of Walmart

and Home Depot

are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow

is trading 367 points, or 1.1%, higher. Walmart’s shares are up $8.18 (6.2%) while those of Home Depot have risen $16.17 (5.1%), combining for a roughly 160-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Walgreens Boots
Dow Inc.
and Nike
A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.59-point swing.
