Dow's 150-point fall led by losses for 3M, Dow Inc. stocks

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Friday afternoon with shares of 3M and Dow Inc. delivering the stiffest headwinds for the price-weighted average. The Dow

was most recently trading 155 points lower (-0.5%), as shares of 3M

and Dow Inc.

have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. 3M’s shares are off $3.00, or 2.4%, while those of Dow Inc. have declined $0.68, or 1.4%, combining for a roughly 24-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Intel
Procter & Gamble
and IBM
A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
