Frontier IP FY 2022 Revenue, Profit Rose After Revaluation of Investments

Frontier IP Group PLC on Thursday reported a rise in pretax profit on higher revenue as a result of a net unrealized profit on the revaluation of investments.

The intellectual-property specialist made a pretax profit 10.9 million pounds ($12.7 million) for the year ended June 30 compared with GBP10.2 million.

Revenue for the period was GBP14.1 million compared with GBP12.7 million a year earlier.

Net unrealized profit on the revaluation of investments was GBP10.9 million.

The company said the fair value of its equity portfolio increased 24% to GBP39.7 million.

Frontier IP added that it is confident for the year ahead despite a difficult market and economic outlook.

Shares in Frontier IP at 0827 GMT were up 5.00 pence, or 7.9%, at 68.50 pence.
