BLS Says September US Jobs Report Will Be Released Nov. 20 (1)

The Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the September jobs report Thursday, after it was delayed due to the government shutdown.

The BLS released a partially updated calendar of economic releases on Friday, following the end of the longest shutdown in US history. The agency also said it will issue September inflation-adjusted earnings Nov. 21. The reports will come out at 8:30 a.m. in Washington.

These reports were some of the easiest for BLS to reschedule, as data collection for the September jobs report was completed by the time the government shut down. The real earnings data typically is published …
