Etsy Falls on ‘Cautious’ Guidance. Wall Street Sees the Stock Rising From Here.

posted strong revenue growth in the fourth quarter, but the stock was falling Thursday after earnings missed estimates and the company provided guidance that was below Wall Street expectations.

The online marketplace for crafts and other goods expects gross merchandise revenue in the current fiscal first quarter of between $2.95 billion to $3.15 billion, a decline from $3.25 billion a year earlier. Wall Street had called for gross merchandise revenue of $3.17 billion.
