Textron Inc. stock falls Tuesday, underperforms market

Shares of Textron Inc. TXT slid 0.73% to $72.53 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around poor trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX falling 0.30% to 3,970.15 and Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA falling 0.71% to 32,656.70. This was the stock’s third consecutive day of losses. Textron Inc. closed $3.58 short of its 52-week high ($76.11), which the company achieved on February 3rd.
