Bajaj Finserv to invest ₹5,000 crore in Pune, create 40,000 jobs

The Maharashtra government has signed an MoU with Bajaj Finserv under which the non-banking finance company will invest ₹5,000 crore in Pune, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Saturday. This is expected to create 40,000 jobs, he said, adding, “I think it is the largest investment in recent times taking place in the fintech sector.”
