Richard Heaton joined Greenberg Traurig as a real estate practice shareholder in its Houston office, the firm announced Thursday.
Heaton previously was chief legal and compliance officer at Hines, a major real estate development and investment management company.
At Greenberg Traurig, Heaton will focus on representing investors, developers and property managers in complex real estate transactions across all asset types, and advise on construction, development, investment structures and compliance issues globally, the firm said.
