On the heels of Oracle Corp.’s announcement of multibillion-dollar artificial-intelligence deals and huge projections of cloud-revenue growth, analysts at D.A. Davidson are feeling more optimistic about Nvidia Corp.’s prospects.
Nvidia NVDA is a hugely popular stock, but technology strategist Gil Luria had been on the sidelines since initiating coverage early in 2024, as he worried that demand for the company’s chips could cool. On Thursday, though, he changed his view with an upgrade to buy that reflected a more encouraging outlook for AI spending.
