Former Erie DJ turned best-selling author shares new book on real estate investments

You may remember Joel Miller as Erie’s mobile DJ. That was his job for 35 years.

Now, Miller is a best-selling author who teaches real estate investment. It was real estate investment that enabled him to quit his day job.

Miller is a long-time Erie landlord and the Apartment Association of Northwestern PA president.

He just released the book “Build Real Estate Wealth: Enjoy the Journey of Rental Property Investment” and was at Penn State Behrend for a real estate symposium on Thursday sharing advice he said can change lives and finances.

“My book is about adding real estate to what might already be a really busy life or taking it all the way to where you have enough income to be able to quit a job,” said Joel Miller, Best-selling author.

Miller said the key to building wealth is using the money you make to help make a better world.
