Shares of DXC Technology Co. DXC rose 2.78% to $27.70 Thursday, on what proved to be an all-around positive trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX rising 1.22% to 4,425.84 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 1.26% to 34,408.06.

DXC Technology Co. closed $5.42 short of its 52-week high ($33.12), which the company reached on June 28th.
