Vedanta

Vedanta announced that its subsidiary, Talwandi Sabo Power (TSPL), has signed a settlement agreement with SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation. The agreement resolves long-standing disputes linked to the EPC contracts for a 3×660 MW thermal power project. Both parties have agreed to a full and final settlement of all claims and counterclaims. As part of the deal, pending arbitration proceedings will be withdrawn, closing a protracted chapter for the project.

Aditya Birla Capital

Aditya Birla Capital has tapped the debt market with a private placement of secured, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The allotment involves 3.4 lakh units, raising a total of Rs 3,400 crore. Issued in two tranches of equal size, the instruments will find listings on both NSE and BSE, widening the company’s capital-raising options.

Apollo Hospitals

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise is set to consolidate its healthcare services arm, Apollo Health and Lifestyle (AHLL). The company will acquire the 31% stake held by International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Rs 1,254 crore, making AHLL a fully owned subsidiary.

Adani Power

Adani Power has signed a 25-year agreement with Bihar State Power Generation Company to set up a greenfield 2,400 MW ultra supercritical thermal power plant at Pirpainti in Bhagalpur. The project will be developed on a build, finance, own and operate model and will consist of three units of 800 MW each.

Shakti Pumps

Shakti Pumps (India) bagged a major order worth Rs 374 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL). The deal covers the supply and installation of 34,720 off-grid solar pumps under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B scheme. The latest booking round saw over 12,000 systems already snapped up by farmers.

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has disclosed that the US FDA issued it a Form 483 with five observations after an inspection of its biologics facility in Bachupally, Hyderabad. The inspection, conducted between September 4-12, 2025, was a pre-approval review. The company said it will address the issues raised within the regulator’s timeline.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals

Alembic Pharmaceuticals received an Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the USFDA for two of its API facilities at Panelav, Gujarat. The inspection was conducted in May 2025, and the regulator’s clean chit effectively closes the review cycle. Earlier this year, Alembic also got a similar outcome for its Karakhadi unit, keeping its regulatory approvals on track.

Info Edge

Info Edge (India), best known for its internet-based businesses, has disclosed that it received a whistleblower complaint regarding its 99acres real estate arm. The allegations point to policy violations by some employees. The company has escalated the matter to its Audit Committee and Board, who have brought in a specialist law firm for an independent probe. For now, the management clarified that the issue does not impact its financial results.

Diamond Power

Diamond Power Infrastructure announced a contract win from Adani Energy Solutions Limited. The order covers the supply of 5,403 km of AL-59 Zebra Conductor for the Jamnagar project, valued at Rs 236.71 crore. The project is structured on a kilometre-rate basis with price variation formulas and is expected to be executed by June 2026.

RailTel

RailTel Corporation has bagged a contract worth Rs 209.79 crore from the Bihar Education Project Council. The deal, tied to the PM SHRI scheme, involves supply and implementation services for improving education infrastructure. The project is targeted for completion by September 2026.

GMR Airports

GMR Airports reported a decline in passenger volumes for August, 2025. The company handled 93.49 lakh passengers across its network, marking a 3.5% drop compared with the same month last year. Domestic passenger numbers were largely unchanged, while international traffic showed a modest rise of 2.8%. Aircraft movements, however, bucked the trend, rising 4.2% year-on-year to 58,813.
