Nvidia reported solid earnings late Wednesday and provided a revenue forecast for the January quarter that was above Wall Street’s expectations. The stock was rising 4.4% in after-hours trading on the news.
For its October quarter, the chip maker reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.30, compared to Wall Street’s consensus estimate of $1.26, according to FactSet.
Revenue for the fiscal third quarter was $57 billion, ahead of analysts’ expectations for $54.9 billion.
