Nvidia stock has marked a new all-time intraday high and if it keeps pace throughout the day, it will mark a new record close.
The stock traded as high as $172.26 or up 4.99% after market open today, which is the highest level during trading, based on available data back to 1999, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
Other chip stocks like Broadcom, TSMC, ASML and AMD were also higher.
