The stock market returned on Monday with a bit of a hangover after ending the holiday-shortened week at record levels.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 71 points, or 0.2% at the market open. The S&P 500 was down 0.3%. The Nasdaq Composite was down 0.5%.

The yield on the 2-year Treasury note was down to 3.89%, while the 10-year yield was up to 4.37%.
