Vodafone Idea
Vodafone Idea has made a significant management change. Tejas Mehta has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, effective 6 October. Mehta joins from Mondelez India, where he served as Finance Chief. The appointment is expected to strengthen Vodafone Idea’s financial strategy amid ongoing market challenges.
Canara Bank
Canara Bank’s subsidiary, Canara HSBC Life Insurance, has filed its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) with the Registrar of Companies (ROC), a key step towards its upcoming public offering.
Lupin
Lupin has launched the Liraglutide injection in the US for diabetes treatment. The annual market for this medicine in the US is estimated at Rs 3,106 crore. Separately, the company received an update from the USFDA regarding its Pithampur Unit 2 inspection conducted between 8–17 July, which previously resulted in a Form 483. The USFDA has now issued an Official Action Indicated (OAI) status.
Ceigall India Ltd
Ceigall India has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) for setting up grid-connected solar power projects in four districts of Maharashtra. The company will establish a 190 MW solar plant at a project cost of Rs 712.16 crore under a 25-year operational contract.
Krystal Integrated Services
Krystal Integrated Services has secured two contracts worth Rs 157 crore from the Directorate of Education, New Delhi. The first contract covers sanitation and housekeeping services in school buildings, stadiums, and hospitals. The second involves facility management services. Both contracts will run for two years.
HDFC Bank
Advances under management rose 9 per cent YoY to Rs 28.69 lakh crore. Gross advances increased 10 per cent to Rs 27.69 lakh crore. Deposits surged 12.1 per cent to Rs 28 lakh crore, with CASA deposits growing 7.4 per cent to Rs 9.49 lakh crore and time deposits rising 14.6 per cent to Rs 18.5 lakh crore.
Kotak Mahindra Bank
Net advances increased 16 per cent YoY to Rs 4.62 lakh crore. CASA deposits rose 11.2 per cent to Rs 2.23 lakh crore, while total deposits grew 14.6 per cent to Rs 5.28 lakh crore.
IndusInd Bank
Net advances fell 8 per cent YoY to Rs 3.3 lakh crore, and total deposits declined 5 per cent to Rs 3.8 lakh crore. CASA ratio dropped from 35.9 per cent to 30.8 per cent.
Punjab National Bank (PNB)
Q2 global business grew 10.6 per cent YoY to ~Rs 27.88 lakh crore. Domestic business rose 10.5 per cent to ~Rs 26.83 lakh crore. Global deposits increased 10.9 per cent to ~Rs 16.17 lakh crore, while domestic deposits rose 10.4 per cent to ~Rs 15.64 lakh crore. Global advances grew 10.3 per cent to ~Rs 11.71 lakh crore, with domestic advances up 10.7 per cent to ~Rs 11.19 lakh crore. The global credit-deposit ratio stood at 72.4 per cent.
Vedanta Ltd
Vedanta Ltd reported record quarterly production in alumina and aluminum. Alumina output rose 31 per cent YoY to 6.5 lakh tonnes, while aluminum production increased 1 per cent YoY to 6.2 lakh tonnes.
Hindustan Zinc Ltd
Q2 mined metal production increased 1 per cent YoY to 258 kt, refined zinc production rose 2 per cent to 202 kt, while refined lead output declined 29 per cent to 45 kt. Saleable metal production fell 6 per cent to 246 kt. Wind power production increased 2 per cent to 13.2 crore units.
Avenue Supermarts
Avenue Supermarts Ltd: Standalone revenue for FY25 rose to ~Rs 16,219 crore from ~Rs 14,050 crore YoY. The total store count reached 432 as of 30 September 2025.
