With homelessness rising across Citrus County – from children sleeping in cars to the residents of Mission in Citrus, many of whom are veterans, being kicked out of their homes – Citrus County Commissioners are planning a landmark workshop Tuesday to confront the crisis head-on.
Five different presentations, from housing services, nonprofit shelters, the school district and regional coalitions will present data, solutions and a shared call to action – a coordinated, community-wide investment in housing stability.
