Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee has unveiled plans to ease a housing crisis and boost the economy. He said providing affordable housing was an issue of “great public concern”. The latest measures aim to provide an easier path to subsidised housing for those under the age of 40. Other policies announced are intended to bolster Hong Kong’s position as a global hub and improve livelihoods. May Wong reports from Hong Kong.
