Research article proposes state-level housing policy change

The average home in Cache County costs double today what it did less than 10 years ago. A recent research article from Pacific Legal Foundation blamed a housing supply shortage for the steep prices, and presented four state-level policy reforms to address America’s housing crisis from a property rights standpoint.

One of the article’s authors, Logan resident Megan Jenkins, and Logan City Senior Planner Russ Holley weighed in on what the proposed reforms would actually look like on a local scale if approved.
