Singer and rapper Badshah has surprised fans with his new lean look on Instagram. Recently, he shared a clip on the official Instagram account of his clothing brand. While the DJ Waley Babu singer was promoting the latest drop from his collection, fans couldn’t help but notice his drastic weight loss, with many even comparing him to Canadian-Indian singer AP Dhillon.
The clip features Badshah wearing a black tank top and a thermal, showcasing his noticeably leaner physique compared to his past appearances. He also sported sunglasses to complement his look. Fans had mixed reactions to Badshah’s transformation—while many supported his fitness journey, others trolled him and speculated whether he had taken Ozempic, a popular weight-loss drug currently trending in Hollywood.
Comparing Badshah’s look to AP Dhillon, one fan wrote, “Ek minute, ye Badshah hai ya AP Dhillon?” Another commented, “Is it just me, or is he looking a bit like AP Dhillon?” A third user added, “Bhai AP Dhillon ka copy lag raha hai 💀.”
Many also speculated whether Badshah was taking the Ozempic treatment, which has allegedly become a rage among celebrities. A fan wrote, “Hollywood and now Bollywood—high on Ozempic.” Another remarked, “Ozempic. Bollywood’s new obsession.”
A Reddit user compared Badshah’s drastic weight loss to that of filmmaker and producer Karan Johar, who has also shed a significant amount of weight in recent months. “First KJo, now Badshah. Is everyone on Ozempic?” the fan wrote. However, another fan countered the speculation, arguing that Badshah doesn’t exhibit the typical signs of Ozempic use. “I mean if he wants to be healthy – he doesn’t have ozempic face and has apparently had a pretty consistent gym routine,” the fan wrote.
This isn’t the first time Badshah has made headlines for his weight loss. Back in 2022, he opened up about consciously making healthier lifestyle choices. He also revealed that he suffers from sleep apnea, which has pushed him to prioritize his health and make better dietary decisions.
Speaking to Shilpa Shetty Kundra on her show Shape of You, he said, “At first, I would suddenly starve myself. This is why I used to put on a lot of weight as well. But now, I have stopped suppressing my desires and eat what I want but not in quantities I will regret later. Due to our profession, we have a lot of bad eating habits. We don’t even eat on time. Now, I am addicted to salads. I think, for anyone who wants to lose weight, it is a lifestyle.”
