On the first day of the 2023 hurricane season, FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber says while NOAA is predicting an average number of storms but there is already a small disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico, Invest 91, which may bring some rain to Florida. However, he adds that if one major hurricane hits the area it was a ‘bad’ season regardless of how many named storms actually developed, which is why it is important to be prepared.
