Mob Wives alum Renee Graziano is marking a major milestone, revealing she’s lost 52 pounds with the help of a popular GLP-1 injectable medication.

“OH BABY. IM DOWN 52 lbs. I love sharing my weight-loss journey with y’all because truthfully, I’ve been so hard on myself behind the scenes,” Renee, 57, wrote via Instagram on Monday, May 5. Her post featured a drastic side-by-side comparison: a past red carpet photo next to a recent shot showing off a slim silhouette in a curve-hugging black dress.

“I’ve battled self-criticism in the past! Ripped myself down to the ground!! I truly was so sick and tired of my life and my inability to lose weight so I thought I’d eat until I felt better THAT NEVER HAPPENED,” the VH1 personality wrote in a lengthy caption. “I felt like I was constantly falling short — of how I ‘should’ look, feel, and keep up with what society tells us is acceptable.”

Renee hoped to inspire her followers, sharing that if she could overcome a long, complicated relationship with food and lose weight, they could too.

She followed up by candidly detailing how she was able to get healthier, choosing to be fully transparent with her use of Mounjaro, which is an FDA-approved GLP-1 medication prescribed for people with type 2 diabetes. The drug is known to curve cravings, reduce appetite and improve how the body breaks down fat.

“Between taking my weekly MOUNJARO shot for the first five months, I was making sure I took the right supplements (DM me I will share what take) weekly chats with my therapist and doing all the work behind my insecurity, I haven’t felt the need for a plastic surgery short cut, Although I do believe whatever makes you happy,” she explained. “The substantial amount of weight that I have lost really has made me feel and look younger than I have in a long time.”

The Celebrity Big Brother alum has been open about her health struggles in the past — revealing in March 2024 that she suffered a near-fatal overdose after taking drugs laced with fentanyl — and made sure to tell her followers in her caption that, “If you’re like me your recovery must come first!!”

The Mob Wives alum first opened up about the scary overdose situation to Bunnie Xo’s during her “Dumb Blonde” podcast in March 2024, revealing she “died in a restaurant in Florida.”

“I just lost my s–t, man. September 18, someone gave me a bag of fentanyl,” she recalled, explaining that she was given a bad batch of a different drug she was hoping to get. “I was dead, intubated for three days. No one in my family came to the hospital and I spent nine days there learning how to walk again.”

Renee said the near-death experience encouraged her to battle her addiction and she entered a rehab center shortly after. “They said I wasn’t gonna make it and my family just couldn’t do it,” she said. “And I don’t blame them. I’ve put them through hell.”
