Candace Cameron Bure shared her best advice for kicking off an effective fitness routine.

While participating in a Q&A with her fans with her Instagram Stories on Thursday, October 2, one person wrote in, “I’m trying to kick start a fitness routine. Need to lose 50 lbs! Any advice to get started?”

Cameron Bure, 49, responded by making a list that included tips like “make a plan” and “find the workouts you wanna do.” After recommending her personal trainer Kira Stokes‘ fitness app that can be used at the gym or at home, Cameron Bure wrote, “Consistency is key.”

She then concluded the post by advising the fan to eat in a calorie deficit in order to lose weight.

Alongside the tips, Cameron Bure proved she’s active with her own fitness plan by sharing a video of her lifting a kettlebell.

During the same Q&A, another fan asked how she stays “looking so young.”

After she noted that she gets “facials once in a while,” the Full House alum continued, “I will never do lasers again. Had them in the past and they didn’t accomplish anything and were $$$.”

The mom of three also shared that she’s been using products from Lancer Skincare for more than 15 years. “Still love the products but open to new things,” she wrote. “I haven’t found anything new I like worth sharing yet. Will keep you posted!”

Cameron Bure opened up about how she takes care of herself after she revealed she wants to be in the “best shape of my life” before she turns 50 in April 2026.

“That’s what I’m working towards,” she told Fox News Digital during an interview published in May. “I’ve been filming a lot of movies, so I don’t feel like I’m at my top right now because my fitness has to take a back seat while I’m filming movies, but I turned 49 this year and I have really big goals for myself just keeping active and healthy, but going into 50, I wanna be in best shape that I can possibly be in.”
