SOUTH BEND — Start 2025 by learning about aromatherapy and by making your own sugar scrub and salt bath soak during “DIY Winter Skin Scrubs, Soaks, and Soothers” offered by the St. Joseph County Public Library. Unwind as you create personalized treatments designed to rejuvenate your skin and relax your mind. This program will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Jan. 14 in the LaSalle Branch meeting room, 3232 W. BRISTOL — The Elkhart County Historical Museum is offering “Learn & Burn” from 11 a.m. to noon on Jan. 10. Take time out to learn about historical perspectives on personal fitness and the rise of physical culture in the late 1800s. After giving your brain a workout, join Barb Welty of the Elkhart County Health Department in a historically inspired workout with fitness routines drawn from the turn of the 20th century. This event is for those 18 years of age or older. There is no fee and no registration is required. Upon arrival, all participants must sign a waiver before taking part in the class. The museum is located at 304 W. Vistula St.

SOUTH BEND — Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana will offer the free class “Communication Changes” from 10 to 11 a.m. Jan. 13 in the Care Partner Academy. Patty Piechocki, director of the Institute for Excellence in Memory Care, will lead this live/interactive web session. Participants can connect through their computer. • Senior Nutrition – SNS/Meals on Wheels of SW Michigan announces the meal site in the Center is open. Lunch starts at noon. Call Kerri at 269-695-7119 by 10 a.m. Monday-Friday to reserve your meal the next business day. Seating is limited. Ask about home delivery service for qualifying homebound seniors. Must be 60 years or older.

• Foot Clinic — Monthly foot clinic through Blessed Feet, LLC, beginning at 9 a.m. Jan. 16. The initial appointment fee is $40; all subsequent appointments will cost $30 (checks payable to Blessed Feet, LLC). Not covered under any insurance. Call the BASC to schedule an appointment.
