Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty fitness: The Shetty sisters are levelling up their fitness game with this insane core workout session. While they are both physically active and super fit, when they come together, they elevate their exercise routine and end up doing some challenging crunches and core-burning activities. As part of her ‘Monday motivation’ series, Shilpa posted a video on Instagram, which she captioned with a clever play of words: “Abs-olutely unstoppable together”. In the video, the sisters performed some well-coordinated exercises that enabled them to work on their core muscles and strengthen them. Citing the benefits of these workouts, Shilpa wrote that these exercises help in strengthening your core. They are also beneficial when it comes to improving posture, balance, and stability of the body, while reducing the risk of injuries. “It enhances athletic performance and everyday movements, making you fitter and more functional. Partner workouts add fun, motivation, and competition to keep things engaging,” the actor wrote.

In the video, Shilpa and Shamita were first seen lying down on the floor with their legs raised and their hands locked together. They proceeded to bring their feet together to make an arch, repeating this movement a few times.

Next, they did a variation of bicycle crunches, in which they appeared to kick their legs in the air, alternating between stretching them out and bringing the feet close together while keeping their knees bent. The sisters used their hands for support, while keeping their bottoms fixed on the floor.

This was followed by sit-up crunches, in which they exchanged a ball while sitting up and then lying down completely to spread their backs. This is considered to be extremely challenging, giving a nice workout to the core by burning the fat.
