Juvenile charged as adult in January Charleston smoke shop homicide

One of two 14-year-old boys charged with murder in the January death of Caden Martin has had his case transferred from juvenile to adult criminal court.

Kanawha Circuit Judge Maryclaire Akers on Tuesday transferred the case of Bre’juan Laquay Williams-Hampton on charges of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.
